Hi!! I’m Erika Guzman, a New York City-based hair and makeup artist originally from Colombia.I love bringing positive energy to every set and every person who sits in my chair.

My career began in beauty makeup, where I developed a strong foundation in enhancing natural beauty for editorial shoots, fashion, runway, live events, Broadway productions, music videos, editorials and campaigns for brands including Champion, Lyft, Levi’s, and Pinterest, while assisting talented artists who have helped shape my own approach to the craft.

As my career has evolved, I’ve discovered a passion for Special Effects Makeup. I love the creative challenge of building characters, sculpting wounds, creating realistic textures, and transforming ideas into something audiences can believe. 

One of the things that defines me most is my ability to adapt. I’ve worked in many different industries throughout my career, which has made me a quick learner, a strong multitasker, and someone who stays calm under pressure. Whether I’m on a fast-paced film set, backstage at a live performance, or working one-on-one with a client, I believe that professionalism, collaboration, and kindness are just as important as technical skill.
